Ubud is the creative and spiritual heart of Bali — a highland town surrounded by rice terraces, ancient temples, and dense jungle teeming with wildlife. Our Ubud experience packages weave together the town's most iconic highlights: cascading terraced rice paddies, a sacred monkey forest, holy spring water temples, and bustling artisan markets where local craftspeople sell silver jewellery, batik fabric, and hand-carved wood. Every tour is private and guided by a local Ubud expert.
Ubud is approximately 40–60 km from south Bali resort areas (Seminyak, Kuta, Canggu), typically a 1–1.5 hour drive depending on traffic. Hotel pickup is included in all our Ubud tour packages from south and central Bali.
Absolutely. Tegallalang is one of Bali's most photographed landscapes — cascading terraces sculpted over centuries using traditional Subak irrigation. We recommend arriving early (before 09:00 AM) to avoid the crowds. Some swing and activity operators also operate here.
Yes! Ubud has several venues that host the traditional Kecak fire dance in the evenings, including the Ubud Palace and Padangtegal. We can arrange evening performances as an add-on to your Ubud day tour. Please mention this when booking.
The Ubud Monkey Forest is generally safe if you follow the rules: don't bring food, avoid direct eye contact, don't run, and remove glasses or hats that monkeys may grab. Your guide will brief you fully before entering and accompany you throughout.
Ubud Art Market is famous for handmade batik sarongs, silver jewellery, wood carvings, and traditional paintings. Arrive early for the best selection and the most authentic local sellers. Bargaining is expected — aim for about 50–60% of the initial asking price.
