North Bali is the island's quiet, authentic side — a world away from the busy south, with dramatic waterfalls, highland lake temples, colonial-era architecture in Singaraja, dolphin watching at Lovina, and the best black-sand beaches on the island. Many travellers skip the north entirely, which means those who do venture up find a Bali that feels genuinely unspoiled and deeply rewarding.

Ask via WhatsAppAbsolutely — North Bali is one of the most rewarding regions to explore. Sekumpul Waterfall alone is worth the drive, and the combination of lake temples, waterfalls, and authentic village life makes for a magnificent full-day or overnight trip.
The drive from South Bali to the North Bali coast (Singaraja / Lovina) takes approximately 2.5–3 hours via the highlands, or 2 hours via the eastern coastal route. We recommend the highland route for the most scenic journey.
Yes — a North Bali day trip typically departs early (07:00) and returns by 19:00–20:00. The route covers Bedugul (Ulun Danu Temple), Sekumpul or Gitgit Waterfall, and the North Bali coast. It is a long but very rewarding day.
Sunrise dolphin boat trips depart from Lovina Beach at around 06:00. Traditional outrigger boats head out into the Bali Sea where spinner dolphins are commonly spotted in the wild. It's an atmospheric early-morning experience.
Start at Ulun Danu Beratan (07:00–08:30) before the crowds arrive, then drive north to Sekumpul (arrive around 09:30–10:00), do the waterfall trek (3 hours), and return via the coast or highlands. Our drivers know the optimal route.
