On 15 January 2026, the Klungkung Regency Government signed a cooperation agreement with Desa Adat Sekartaji for the management of Bukit Teletubbies as a recreation and tourist attraction. The stated aims include improving Sapta Pesona, providing supporting facilities, creating opportunities for local creative-economy activity, increasing visits, and strengthening local revenue. This means the visitor experience and facilities may continue to develop.
Klungkung also announced electronic ticketing and electronic payment for recreation, tourism, and sports-service levies in Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. The official announcement says that from 21 February 2026 visitors to the island tourism area must purchase the applicable levy ticket electronically through Easybook, with verification by officers at the location. Because collection arrangements, covered attractions, prices, and verification points can change during implementation, check the current official channel before departure. Do not rely on older articles that describe Teletubbies Hills as permanently free or quote a small cash fee.
